Foreign Workers that come to work in Israel need a good health insurance plan, in order to promise their ability to earn a living and to be able to cover their medical expenses.

The law obligates employers to purchase health insurance for their Foreign Workers

As of today, many Foreign Workers are employed in a large amount of households, performing various jobs. These workers do not have an Israeli citizenship, and therefore are not eligible for regular Israeli health insurance in the frame of the national health insurance law.

Therefore, the employer is obligated by law to insure their Foreign Workers with health insurance through a legal and licensed insurance company, throughout the whole period of the employment. . The health insurance policy that we have to offer is through Harel Insurance company and Kupat cholim Clalit, which provides the medical protection that is demanded by the law. The insurance perimeters are similar to the coverage given to Israeli citizens according to the national health insurance law.

✓ Public hospital expenses (in Israel), including ER expenses
✓ Operating room, surgeon and anesthetist fee, ICU, medication during hospitalization
✓ Lab tests, X-Rays, E.K.G, endoscopy, U.S. and other check-ups
✓ Specialist consultations, coverage for medication (in health basket) in pharmacies country wide
✓ Emergency dental treatment country wide in arrange medical clinics
✓ Coverage of expenses for transportation to the hospital via ambulance (according to policy terms)
✓ Air ticket back to country of origin in the case of loss of capacity to work
✓ In case of physical disability or death due to an accident- compensation of up to $10,000
✓ Transportation of a corpse to origin country
